REGINA M. HALLAHAN MACRINA, 44, of Collingswood, died Monday at West Jersey Hospital-Camden.
Mrs. Macrina was born in Harrisburg, Pa., and has been a Collingswood resident for the last nine years. She was a member of the Camden Board of Education for 23 years and taught in several schools throughout the Camden City School District. Mrs. Macrina received a bachelor's and master's degree from Glassboro State College, now Rowan College,and did postgraduate work at the school to obtain guidance counselor certification. She was a counselor at Cooper Poynt School in Camden for the last five years. Mrs. Macrina was a member of the National Education Association, the New Jersey Education Association, the Camden City Education Association, and the Camden County Elementary Guidance Counselors Association.
Survivors: a son, Brendan McBride at home; three daughters, Alexis Corinne and Alison,all at home; five brothers, Charles of California, Michael of California, Kenneth of Camden, Lawrence of New York, and Thomas of Florida, and her mother, Margaret of Collingswood.
Services: visitation, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today, Church of St. John, Park and Lees Avenue, Collingswood; Mass of Christian Burial, 7 p.m. today at the church; burial, Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
