Richard “Dick” J. Miracle, age 80 years, of Whittemore, Mich., met His Lord on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, Mich., with family by his side.

Dick was born March 27, 1935 in Flint, Mich., to the late Robert J. and Marguerite M. (Martin) Miracle. He met the former Donna Lee Hewett in 6th grade, married her on August 7, 1954 at the Whittemore United Methodist Church, and together they raised six children, Janice, Denise, Rick, Cheryl, Marcie, and Annette.

Dick was employed by General Motors in Flint. In 1972 he moved his family to Mexico City, Mexico where he took the position of Facility Manager for the Engine and Foundry plants. He returned to Michigan after fourteen and a half year career there. Dick was honored by General Motors and the government for his accomplishments.

Dick was a member of County Line Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed fishing in years past, but most of all he enjoyed spending time after retirement with family and friends.

Dick is survived by his adoring wife of 61 years, Donna; children, Janice (Garth) Hunt, Denise (Jack) Dunn, Rick (Jennie) Miracle, Cheryl Miracle Ackley, Marcie (Brian) Lobdell, and Annette (Kevin) Kaczmarek; grandchildren, Shannon (Tom) Rea, Maureen (Mark) Kalhoefer; Lindsay (Bradley) Bechtel, Andrew (Lauren) Dunn, Jacqueline (Adam) Gilles, Rick (Leslie) Miracle, Staci (Kevin) Daly, Haley Miracle, Lauren Ackley, Mitchell (Lauren) Ackley, Erin (Travis) Palmer, Jamie (Jason) Hutchison, Derek (Jodi) Lobdell, Krysta (Kris Stewall) Kaczmarek, Kayla (Jon Jury) Kaczmarek, and Kara Kazcmarek; great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Makenzie and Brendan, Colton, Wyatt, Luke, and Eli, Addison, Callie, Mathew, Maggie, Aubrey, and Isabel, Tatum, Airyonna And Alex, Keira and Kenadi, Kamari and Elijah; one brother, Robert B. Miracle; numerous nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers.

Visitation for Dick will take place 12-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Buresh Funeral Home – Twining, 15 W. Maple Ridge Road, Twining, MI 48766. A celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home under the direction of Pastor Don Wolfgang. Cremation will follow.
