Peggy, 80, of Owosso, MI. departed to the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Mowen Funeral Home - William A. Scarlett Memorial Chapel with Dr. Robert G. Moore officiating. Burial followed at Riverside West Cemetery, Henderson.
Peggy was the daughter of Howard W. and Ethel (Fischer) Wright. She moved to Owosso as a young girl and graduated from Owosso High School. She married Alvin Allen in Owosso on October 19, 1957; he preceded her in death on November 30, 2004.
Peggy worked as an automotive account at several dealerships for 46 years, retiring from Campus Ford - Okemos in 2005. She was also bookkeeper for Christ Episcopal Church for many years, retiring in 2014.
Peggy was a loving mother and grandmother - her grandchildren were the joy of her life.
Those cherishing her memory include: son, Christopher (Linda) Allen; daughter, Carol (Ronald) Jensen; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Helen) Wright; daughter-in-law, Christine Allen; numerous nieces and nephews.
