George Kressler, of Petersville, Northampton county, died on Monday of last week, aged 72 years. In his early days he boated on the Lehigh canal with the late Asa Packer, president of the Lehigh Valley railroad, and one season was the winner of the prize for having carried the largest quantity of coal.
