Granddaughter of John Walter Hill McCLUER (1868–1954) and Grace L. Jones McCLUER (1874–).

Daughter of Harold L. HENRY (1907–1970) and Kate Electa McCluer HENRY (1912–1990). They were married in 31 Dec 1932 in Great Valley, Cattaraugus County, NY and divorced in Apr 1946. Kate Electa then married Vincent Robert WIEBERG (1913–1949) on 10 Sep 1947.

Donna May (née Henry) Abbott died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 in a road accident in the Ithaca, NY area while travelling to spend time with her family for Christmas.

Born Dec. 9, 1938 in Arcade, NY, she was the daughter of Harold Henry and K. Electa McClure Henry Wieberg. Mrs. Abbott was a graduate of Ten Broeck Academy, Franklinville, NY, class of 1956. On Dec. 28, 1956 she married the love of her life, Phillip C. Abbott. She worked for several years in the office of Dr. Richard Brink, DDS, and then at Ten Broeck Academy and Franklinville Central School where she served as treasurer of the district and secretary to the superintendent for many years from which she retired. Mrs. Abbott was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Franklinville, the Ischua Valley Historical Society, and the Philomathic Club of Franklinville. She was active in the Olean YMCA where she regularly attended water aerobics.

She is survived by her daughter Amy (Andrew) McDonnell of Trumansburg, NY, and her son Lee (Kim) Abbott of Fredonia, and two beloved grandsons, Liam and Drew McDonnell at home. She is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Weber of Delevan and Carol Scalise of Franklinville, two brothers, William Henry of Havre de Grace, MD, and David Wieberg of Matlock, England, and many beloved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, March 31, 2010, and her sister Alice Boye. Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Babbitt & Easton Funeral Home at 7 N. Main St. Franklinville. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at 10 am at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on the corner of Main and Green St. in Franklinville.

The service honoring her will celebrated by Bishop R. William Franklin, of the Episcopal diocese of WNY, Rev. Barbara Baxter pastor and Rev. Joseph Dedde former pastor. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville. Memorials may be made to the St. Barnabas Episcopal Church of Franklinville, or the Food Bank of Western NY.
