From the Frederick Post, July 9, 1928 - Mrs. Emma L. Covell, aged 79 years, 5 months and 13 days, died on Friday night at 11 o'clock at the home of her son Forest D. Covell, near Frederick Junction, after a long illness following a fractured hip two years ago. She was bedfast most of that time. She was the widow of Jonathan F. Covell, and is survived by her son and six grandchildren. A brother, Calvin Dofler, near Mt. Olivet cemetery also survives. Funeral today at 2 o'clock. Services at the house and interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
