Ruth Johnson McDaniel, 93, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 3 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery (Main Gate).
Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
Ruth was born in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Lewis Lee and Emma Hatchett Johnson and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harrison McDaniel.
She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and drawing. She was a medical transcriptionist at Riverside Hospital.
Survivors include her children, David (Donna-Day) McDaniel and Dale (John) Watts; grandchildren, Bo (Rebecca) McDaniel, Madalyn (Jason) McDuffie, Jessica McDaniel, Rachel Watts Phillips, Betsy (Josh) Watts Powell, Ruth (Benjamin) Watts Smisson; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Edna Johnson Bady and several nieces and nephews.
