Keith Henry McCartney was born Nov. 16, 1957 to Chancy H. and Etheleen (Davis) McCartney in Enid, OK.

He was raised in Enid and went to school in that area graduating from Chisholm High School in 1977.
Keith moved with his parents to Perryton, Texas and later moved to Hennessey, OK.

He married Sally Marie Gritz in Kingfisher, OK., Sept. 25, 1980.

Keith worked in the oilfield for many years and, along with his wife, and daughters, owned and operated Keith and Sally’s Cafe in Hennessey for the past 20 years.

A resident of Hennessey he died at the age of 57, Nov. 10, 2015 at his home.

Surviving were his wife, Sally; daughters, Susan McCartney; Marsha (James) Morgan; grandchildren, James Henry Morgan and Chance Allen Morgan; and his mother, Etheleen McCartney.

Keith was preceded by his father; brothers, Cliff McCartney, Billy Joe McCartney; and sister, Sharon McCrary.

Celebration of life services for were Nov. 18, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Hennessey. Services were under the guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
