David Patterson died Monday night at the hour of midnight at his home, eight miles west of the city. Congestion of the lungs was the cause of his death. He was a young man, thirty five years of age, and leaves a wife and child to mourn for him. The funeral took place Wednesday mourning at eleven o'clock from the Mt. Zion church. The burial was made in the Harvey cemetery.
