Funeral services for Wilma Valentine Ratcliff Fowler, age 79, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 3PM at the Kilbourne United Pentecostal Church in Kilbourne, Louisiana.
Reverend Ronald Ratley will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Mrs. Fowler died Monday, September 4, 2006 at the West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove.
Mrs. Fowler lived in Monroe from 1950 to 1963. She worked as a secretary in Monroe and for Hamilton & Carroll Law Firm and Cox Funeral Homes & Flower Shops in Oak Grove. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lived for her family. She was a member of the Kilbourne Untied Pentecostal Church since 1963. She played the piano and sang. She was a great Christian role model.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Jonette Fowler; her grandson, Zachary Bowman and her parents, William Edgar Ratcliff and Emma Matilda Gray Ratcliff.
She is survived by her husband, J. D. Fowler of Oak Grove; son, John Fowler of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Ronald Bowman of Oak Grove; granddaughter, Krista Leigh Bowman Cockerham of Oak Grove; grandson, Scott Bowman of Monahans, Texas; granddaughter, Tonya Michelle Bowman Morris of Oak Grove; brother, Eddie Ratcliff of Oak Grove; 3 brothers-in-laws; 7 sisters-in-laws; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
