Judy Ann Lansink, age 69, of Ida Grove, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at her residence of Ida Grove, Iowa.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Ida Grove, Iowa. The Father Richard D. Ball will officiate.

Judy Ann Lansink was born on August 10, 1946, in Anthon, Iowa, to Kenneth and Margaret (Roark).

Judy grew up on a farm outside of Anthon, Iowa, where she attended country school through the fifth grade. Judy attended Anthon- Oto Community Schools and graduated with the class of 1964. After graduating high school, Judy went on to further her education at NBT business school, where she earned a secretory degree.

On April 18, 1970, Judy united into marriage to Lawrence "Larry" Lansink, in Sioux City, Iowa, at the Cathedral of the Epiphany Catholic Church. The couple made their home on a farm east of Ida Grove, Iowa. Judy and Larry were blessed with two daughters, Cheryl and Laura.

Judy enjoyed being a stay at home mother and a farmer's wife. The couple retired into their new home in the town of Ida Grove, Iowa, on Judy's 57th birthday in 2003.

Judy was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and served on the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Auxiliary. She loved to volunteer and belonged to the Morningside Auxiliary, Horn Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and several card clubs. Judy was an advocate for Ombudsman for care centers.

Judy loved to travel to various locations with Larry, her sister and her brother-in-law. She enjoyed going on bank trips with Larry, the most memorable being Alaska. In her past time Judy liked to read, play cards, put puzzles together with her grandchildren, book keeping, and wintering in Texas. She most of all treasured her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Margaret Adler; infant son, Michael Lansink; brothers and sisters in law, Raymond Nollett, Betty Lansink, Billy Lansink, Diane Lansink, Salvador Murdocco; and mother and father in law, Will and Margaret Lansink.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 45 years, Lawrence "Larry" Lansink of Ida Grove, Iowa; daughters, Cheryl (Ramadan) Ham of Chicago, Illinois and Laura (Keith) Bryan of Coralville, Iowa; grandchildren, Ethan Ham, Elena Ham, Ella Bryan, and Jacob Bryan; brother, Phillip (Deana) Adler of Anthon, Iowa; sisters, Joan (Lew) Johnson of Valentine, Nebraska, and JoAnn (Torrey) Notz of El Dorado, Arkansas; brothers and sisters in law, Don (Darlene) Lansink, Mary Murdocco, James (Jane) Lansink, Dave (Peggy) Lansink, and Jerry Lansink; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
