Leo Brooks Boatwright was born in Kerens, Texas to the late James & Simmie Estella (Huggins) Boatwright. Leo married Willie Nadine Bernard on March 22, 1941 in Corsicana, Texas. He died at age 57 in Palestine, Texas. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Honeycutt. Leo was a member of the Palestine Masonic Lodge. At the time of his death he was married to Iva Pearl Ferguson Boatwright. They married November 27, 1969 in Anderson County. Leo is buried beside his mother; his daughter, Donna, is buried on the other side of her grandmother.
