Joseph Mrazek, 2373 W. River Road, Mount Pleasant, died Saturday at the Westgate Nursing Home in St. Louis. An area resident since 1950, he was 60.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Lux-Rush Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, with Father Patrick O'Connor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

Born Jan. 16, 1920 in Bannister, Mr. Mrazek was the son of Louis and Frances (Vanek) Mrazek.

He was a telephone repairman in New Guinea during World War II and was a 15-year employee of the Buick Motor Division in Flint.

Mr. Mrazek is survived by four sons, Daryl of Flint, Dale of Flint, Joseph Jr. of Flint and Joseph Jr. of Tennessee; two daughters, Beverly of Flint, and Janice of Tennessee; three brothers, Louis of St. Johns, Emil of Mount Pleasant and John of Mount Pleasant; and six sisters, Ann Lawler, Eila O'Hara, Louise Ball and Agnes Moore, all of Mount Pleasant, and Rose Mary Harry of Pleasant Valley and Mary Ann Lewis of Ohio.
