Helen Louise (Wells) Garrett, age 82, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away, Monday, Dec. 21, 2015, at Sycamore Hospital. She was born, Nov. 2, 1933, in Inman, VA, to the late Willard and Lula Mae (Bishop) Wells.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son, Greg Garrett; her siblings, Jack, Joe and Willard Wells. She is survived by her children, Eddie (Althea) Garrett of Miamisburg and Mike (Cyndi Sexton) Garrett of Waynesville, and Renee (Tom) Meek of Miamisburg; her grandchildren, Shane Garrett, Sarah Garrett, Amber Cummins, Brandon Langston, Ryan and Jason Garrett; 6 great-grandchildren. She retired from General Motors ~ Inland Division in 1998 after 31 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and making quilts for them. She was a lifetime member of the DooWahs ~ with her friends Millie & Sue.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown, Oh with Pastor Mark Leach officiating. Burial at Highland Cemetery, Miamisburg.
