Funeral services for Edgar D. Garrard, 80, 925 N. Jefferson, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary with entombment to be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Calling hours at the mortuary are from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight and Tuesday.
A native and lifelong resident of Muncie, Mr. Garrard died Friday in the Parkview Nursing Home. He retired from the Delaware Machine and Tool Company in 1966 and was a member of Moose Lodge 33. He served as Center Township trustee from 1947-53.
Survivors include his wife, Lela Green Garrard; a son, Charles, Muncie; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Turner, RR 1, Parker; a brother, Harry, Muncie; and two grandchildren.
