NORTHWEST GEORGIA ATTORNEY SUCCUMBS
Summerville, GA, April 18 - Colonel Wesley Shropshire, 67, widely-known northwest Georgia attorney, died here today after several weeks illness. He was a native of Chattooga county.
Colonel Shropshire was chairman of the Democratic executive committee of this district. He had served several terms as mayor of Summerville and was formely a state senator from the 42nd district.
He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Miss Beulah Shropshire of Summerville. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Summerville Methodist Church.
