Jones, Mrs. Julia Brassfield, Mrs. Ada Brassfield, Mrs. Bessie D. Golden, Robert E. Stockwell and Mrs. Ruth May Boyd. Margaret A., David H., James Mc., and Sarah E. preceded their mother to the grave. Mr. Stockwell died April 14, 1876.
In July 1857, Mrs. Stockwell made a profession of faith in Christ and united with the Mt Pleasant Baptist Church but in July 1889, she joined the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church by letter, remaining a devoted and faithful member until her death. In 1902 when the new church at Pleasant Ridge was built, she was one of the most liberal contributors to the building fund. Her hand and purse have ever been open to the Lord's cause."
