Calvin Ancelet, 74, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, in his residence.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. Calvin had owned and operated Ancelet's Tile and Marble for over 50 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing (having won several trophies in fishing tournaments) and spending time with his kids, grandkids, family and friends.
Survivors include his children, Donald Ancelet and wife Darla of Carlyss, and Donna Lyons of Vinton; his siblings, William Ancelet, Darrel Ray "Bee" Ancelet, Roxanne Nutt and Mary Terro, all of Sulphur; his grandchildren, Sean Ancelet, Cody Ancelet, Victoria Ancelet, Lauren Ancelet, Walker Lyons, Jordan Ancelet, Jaron Ancelet, Raemi Bieber, Ty Prudhomme and Jace Prudhomme; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Laura Ancelet; his children, Calvin James Ancelet, Brett Ancelet and Dana Vincent Johns; and siblings, Annie Lou Miller, Gerald Wade "Booster" Ancelet and Theo "Junior" Ancelet.
