Robin R. Plummer, 62, of Grand Island died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at CHI Health St. Francis in Grand Island.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island, with Derek Apfel CFC officiating. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery at Sutton.
Mrs. Plummer was born July 20, 1953, in Holdrege, the daughter of Robert and Arlene (Carlson) Atwood. She grew up in the Holdrege and Hastings area, receiving her education from Bellevue West High School, graduating with the class of 1971. She received her RN degree in nursing from Mary Lanning School of Nursing in Hastings in 1974.
She was united in marriage to Lynn A. Plummer on March 27, 1987, in Grand Island. The couple made their home in Grand Island, where she was employed by Golden Living Center, Lakeview Nursing Home as a RN. She was preceded in by her husband, Lynn Plummer, on July 9, 2003.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, along with collecting antiques, reading and crocheting.
Those left to cherish her memory include a son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Becky Darrough of Grand Island; two daughters, Brooke Sautter and special friend, Chris Nelson, of Grand Island, Bethany Darrough and special friend, Michael Gagas, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and four grandchildren, Zachary Darrough, Kayla Darrough, Madisyn Darrough and Aiden Darrough.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lynn.
