KIRKMAN--Arthur Fredrick Kirkman, age 76, of 1412 Forest, passed away at his home Friday, June 16, following a short illness. Mr. Kirkman was a pioneer resident of Bellingham, having lived here for the past 71 years. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving relatives include two sons, Robert, of Seaview, Wash., and Kenneth, of Sitka, Alaska; four daughters, Mrs. J. L. Ricketts, of Bothell, Mrs. Fred Handricks, of Seattle, Mrs. Lewis Boyd, of Noxon, Mont., and Mrs. C. J. Cornell, of Bellingham; four brothers, Andrew and William, both of Bellingham, and Robert and Alfred, both of Clearbrook; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Juen 19, at 2 p.m. within the Cathedral Chapel of the Westford-Beck Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Finlayson officiating. Cremation.
