Lavina Long Hutson, 81, died at 12:50 pm on December 12, 2015 in Clinton Gardens. She was born October 8. 1934 in Shelby County, MO to John H. Long and Carrie Barton Long.
She retired from CBS as a press operator.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Hutson, Sr.; and one brother, James Long.
She is survived by two sons, Wayne Allen of Terre Haute and Richard Hutson, Jr and his wife Karla of Paris, IL; two daughters, Marie and Charles Roberts of Clinton and Verinda and John Leonard of Greentop, MO; one sister, Beulah Lea of Kansas City, KS.; nine grandchildren, Tracy Robinson, Clint Lenover, Dennis Benskin, Kenny Ray Benskin, Tony Allen, Carrie Hutson, Cory Hutson, Ashley Mace, and Travis Leister; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11-1 on December 19th at Frist Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 pm at Frist. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice. Online condolences may be made at www.fristfuneralhome.com.
