William J. Dorsey, 80, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away December 13, 2015 at his home in Port Saint Lucie, FL.
Mr. Dorsey was born on July 10, 1935 in Washington D.C, the son of the late Francis J. and Mary E. (Lacey) Dorsey. He moved to Port Saint Lucie, FL in 1996 coming from Edgewater, MD.
Mr. Dorsey worked for the Department of Corrections in Washington, DC as a Steam Fitter. A resident of the Savannah Club, he was an avid golfer and Redskins Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley (Dove) Dorsey of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; son, Robert M. Dorsey of Edgewater, Maryland; daughters, Katherine M. Tang of Fort Myers, Florida, Nancy J. Lawlor of Hagertown, Maryland and Winifred A. Bennett of Shady Side Maryland; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his brother, Francis O. Dorsey and sister, Winifred A. Randall.
