Mr. Ralph M. Aycock, age 84, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis.Mr. Aycock, born April 18, 1917, was the son of Ben Aycock and Agnes Martin Aycock. He was a mechanic and small business owner prior to his retirement. He was also a member of Caldwell Baptist Church.Mr. Aycock was preceded in death by his first wife, Lola Pritchard and a daughter Jo Ellen Ivy. He is survived by his wife, Claudine Burns Aycock of the home; a son, Al Aycock of Wynne; a daughter, Melba Lynn Early of West Memphis; a sister, Edna Walker of Gosnell; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.Visitation for Mr. Aycock will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at Morgan Chapel. Funeral services for Mr. Aycock are scheduled for Thursday, June 14, 2001, at 10 a.m. at Morgan Chapel with Bro. Dan Minton officiating, assisted by Bro. Myron Shaw. Burial will follow at Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Morgan Funeral Home.
