Most of her lifetime was spent in Hamilton County, where she received her education in the public schools of Aurora and Marquette areas and graduated from the Marquette High School.
On December 18, 1943 she was united in marriage to Wrex Henthorn, Jr. They farmed west of Aurora. For several years she was employed at Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
Janice was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Her father and a brother, Sgt. Wayne Andersen had preceded her in death.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are her husband; one son, Eugene of St. Charles, Missouri; two daughters, Mrs. Karen Helms of Grand Island and Mrs. Linda Taylor of San Jose, California; her mother Mrs. Maggie Andersen of Aurora; six grandchildren and other relatives and close friends.
