She is survived by one daughter, Deborah K. Moore and her husband, Patrick M. Moore, of Phoenix, MD; two step-children, Virginia L. Jessell and her husband, Robert, of Huntingdon and Ned C. Bergstresser of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Shannon N. Gavin and her husband, Dino, of Hunt Valley, MD and Darby M. Moore of Canton, MD; eight step-grandchildren, Robert, Craig, Brett, Cinamon, Debbie, Gretchen, Mary and Jill; two great-grandchildren, Brady and Delaney; and several step-great-grandchildren; as well as, a sister-in-law, Betty Fouse, of Huntingdon. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by three brothers and a sister, Ralph, Merle and Warren Fouse, and Alice Glasgow.
Mrs. Bergstresser was a member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Huntingdon.
She attended Huntingdon public schools and was a 1932 graduate of Huntingdon High School.
During her lifetime, Mrs. Bergstresser was primarily a homemaker.
She was an avid reader who enjoyed spending time with her family.
At the request of Mrs. Bergstresser there will be no public viewing. Friends will be received from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the John B. Brown Funeral Home, 417 Washington St., Huntingdon, PA 16652. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 17th, at the funeral home, with Vicar Caroline Clifford officiating. Interment will be in the Three Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.
