Gladys Nadean Anderson, 80, of Peoria, passed away at 11:23 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on April 3, 1935 in Cabool, MO, a daughter of Henry and Helen (Noirfalise) Elliott. She married Carl A. Anderson, Jr. on September 30, 1955 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1992 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Stephen R. Anderson.
Gladys is survived by her daughter, Lisa K. (Roger) Van Order of Petersburg, NJ; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three brothers; and three sisters.
She retired in 1990, after seventeen years of service, as a Policy Technician with Illinois Mutual Insurance. She was a member of Mt. Hawley Community Church.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, with Pastor John Klotz officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Gladys’ name to the American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery Program in Peoria.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue, in Peoria.
