Ruby Fay Keesee, 90, of Round Rock and formerly of Abilene, passed away Friday, September 30, 2005, in Round Rock. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Oglesby officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keesee was born September 4, 1915, in Erath County, Texas to Isom and Allie Martin. She married H.C. Keesee on September 15, 1932, in Erath County. She worked for the Abilene State School for 17 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Delbert Keesee and wife Robbie of Abilene; a daughter, Pat Moellendorf and husband Bill of Pflugerville; a son-in-law, Tony Berry of El Paso; a brother, Bill Martin and wife Mable of Stephenville; her loving care giver, Lola Velez and family of Round Rock; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Keesee was preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. Keesee; two sons, Earnest Wayne Keesee and Clayton Ray Keesee; a daughter, Brenda Kay Berry; her parents, Isom and Allie Martin; her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Laura Keesee; and eight brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
