Stella Charland, 77, of 38 Blakeley St., a former spinner, died yesterday at Woonsocket Hospital. She was the widow of Felix E. Charland.
Born in Weeden, Quebec, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Belzimir (Vermette) Fournier.
Mrs. Charland worked in various textile mills until retiring 20 years ago.
She leaves a son, Leo O. Charland; a sister, Rose Vallee, both of Woonsocket, and a grandchild.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. from the Lauzon Funeral Home, 85 Rathbun St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue. Burial will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
