David Britts, retired farmer living three and one half miles Southwest of Ladoga passed away at home of his son, Tom Britts, Friday morning after an illness of serveral months. Mr. Britts was approaching his eighty- ninth birthday and died as the result of infirmities of age. His death occured at eight forty-five AM.
The deceased was born June 21, 1841 on the farm where he died. He has spent his entire life in farming and was well known in his community. He was the son of Samuel and Catherine Britts. On February 1, 1866 he was united in marriage to Coalget Goodpasture. Mr. Britts was a member of the Ladoga Christian church. Those surviving him are one son, Thomas at whose home he passed away, three grand children and three great grandchildren. The funeral services will be conducted form the home Sunday afternoon.
