Kenneth King, 79, Pendleton, passed away Dec. 6, 2015, at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1936, in Duff, Tenn., and was an Indiana resident for 54 years having resided in Indianapolis, Fortville, Ingalls and Pendleton.
Kenneth retired from Ford Motor Co., Indianapolis, where he was employed from September 1968 to September 1998.
He was a founding member of REAL Community Church in Ingalls (formerly Ingalls Church of God) where he had served as an elder, trustee and clerk.
Kenneth was active in his Parkinson's Disease support group; enjoyed fishing; was an avid Cincinnati Reds baseball fan as well as attending his grandchildren's activities and sporting events.
Survivors include daughters, Deborah (husband, Pete) Santana of Pendleton and Angela (husband, Jeremy) Parker of Alexandria; grandchildren, Matthew (wife, Jackie) Santana of Anderson, Daniel (Brooke) Santana of Fishers, Adam Santana of Pendleton, Kayla (husband, Zach) Newby of Anderson, Benjamin (Jordan) Powell of Anderson and Paige Parker of Alexandria; great-grandsons, Aldan Santana, Beckett Santana and Noah Newby; brother, Darrell (wife, Margie) Green of Duff, Tenn.; sister, Hazel Small of LaFollette, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jo (Leach) King; father, William Edgar King; mother, Margie (Long) Green; sister, Wilma Perkins; and twin grandsons, Joshua and Jacob.
Visitation from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with services beginning at 3:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.
