Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Theodore and Fleurette (Carrierre) Blanchard.
He leaves two sisters, Claudette Marchand of Cumberland and Monette Lewberg of Woonsocket.
An interment service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of St. John the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
