Aaron Dee Burdett, 57, of Monett, went to be with the Lord in Heaven on Friday December 4, 2015 at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett, Missouri.
He was born on July 16, 1958 the son of Ila Joy (McBee) Burdett and the late Bob Burdett.
He was united in marriage on April 7, 1997 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas to Tanya Purvis, she survives.
He was the supervisor of the Electric Department for the City of Monett.
Aaron is survived by his wife Tanya of the home; his mother: Ila Joy of Springfield, Missouri; one son: Matthew Burdett of Monett; six daughters: Kristina Arnold of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Amanda Scates of Rogers, Arkansas, April Burdett of Monett, Skye Brabant of Monett, Anna Nicole “Nikki” Brattin of McDowell, Missouri, and Madison Burdett of Monett; one brother: Terry Burdett of Blackforest, Colorado; three sisters: Char Cameron of Billings, Sharron Totten of Joplin and Lisa Scott of Nixa; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Bob.
Visitation for Aaron is being held on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 6p-8p at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
Funeral services are being held on Thursday December 10 at 2p at the New Site Baptist Church in Monett, Missouri with Rev. Ronnie Howerton officiating.
Burial will follow services at the King’s Prairie Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the care of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, MO.
