Gladys I. Russell, 67, passed away surrounded by family early Friday morning, November 13, 2015, in her home. She was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on October 20th, 1948 to Lindsey and Marie Hughes. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Gladys was full of joy and a strong will to keep fighting. A successful real estate agent, Gladys was a friend to many. She enjoyed watching movies, reading, and going to the Y for classes. She lived a very active and fit life, enjoying everything it had to offer. A light shined through her that others around could clearly see. Throughout her life, Gladys made lasting memories with her family and friends involving cooking, baking, and crafting. She loved visiting beaches in Florida with her husband, riding the motorcycle, and making friends anywhere she went. She was loved by so many, and will be missed dearly. Thank you to everyone who visited, supported, and loved her throughout her life.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Danny; their son and his wife, Jeff and Rhonda Russell; and three beautiful granddaughters, Jessica and her husband Bryant Hanke, Lindsey Russell, and Megan Russell; her three siblings, Jerry Hughes, Henry Hughes, and Rod and Annie Gillett; and so many other close family members and friends.
