Cleota “Greatmom” Langrehr, 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 6, 2015. She was born to Ray and Grace Walcher on December 11, 1918 in Gage, Oklahoma. Cleota was married to William “Honey” Langrehr on March 31, 1939 in Great Bend, Kansas. There, she was a farmer’s wife and, in 1950, Cleota and William moved to the Bethany, Oklahoma area and eventually the Piedmont area where they continued farming and running a cattle operation.

Cleota regularly attended Piedmont Church of the Nazarene, was very active in numerous community events and was known as “Greatmom” to all. She lived life to the fullest in everything she did and was always the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Langrehr, daughter, Barbara Nance and son-in-law, Ray Nance, and daughter-in-law, Peggy Langrehr, all of Piedmont, Oklahoma.

Cleota is survived by son, Robert Langrehr; daughter, Vivian Hickey and husband Jack, all of Piedmont, and daughter, Phyllis Black of Dallas, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Piedmont, Thursday, December 10 at 2:00 p.m., with interment immediately following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
