AVERY GATES
Avery Branch Gates, aged 96 years, and perhaps the oldest man in Parke county, died at his home in Lena, last Saturday morning and was buried Sunday. He had long been a resident of southern Parke county and was the father of Frank Gates, the well-kown lumberman.
