Elias E. Munoz, 95. Born in Tyrone, New Mexico on June 14, 1920. Elias previously worked at Pete Pasquinelli Company in Yuma, AZ. Drafted from 1942-1945 to U.S. Army where he was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, and Good Conduct Medal, among others. 39 year member of the American Legion. Attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Somerton, AZ. He enjoyed dancing in his earlier years, and was a sharp dresser. He loved his family, children and good friends. He enjoyed going to the movie theatre watching action movies.

Elias was preceded in death by his wife Delfina R. Munoz, and granddaughter Grace Delfina M. Ortiz. He is survived by sons Carlos R. Munoz, Joe Elias R. Munoz Jr., and Tommy R. Munoz. Daughters Dolores M. Ortiz, Delia M. Ayala, Mary Ann M. Washington. Including his 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A wake will be held at Johnson Mortuary on Dec. 3 from 5pm-9pm. Followed by a service on Dec. 4 at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Somerton, AZ. Pallbearers: Carlos R. Munoz, Tommy R. Munoz, Philip Munoz, Percy Washington, Thomas Ayala, Adrian M. Ortiz. Honorary Pallbearers: Joe Elias Munoz Jr. Isacc Elias Munoz.
