She was born December 25, 1941 in Denver, CO. to Jesse and Josephine (Cole) Cadle. She attended school in Flint, graduating from Flint Northern High School in 1959.
Rogena married James Kingsbury on March 26, 1960. Rogena had worked at Tubelite, The Big Rapids Pioneer, Ferris State, and Eagle Village. She enjoyed her family, playing piano, reading, crossword puzzles, and her dog Avi. Rogena was a member of the Hersey Congregational Church, where she was pianist and choir accompanist, and the Reed City Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband Jim, one daughter, Lynda (Troy) Bowling of Wilmington, NC; one son, Gary Kingsbury of Clio; four grandchildren, Kati (Aaron) Mora, Craig (Mary) Bowling, Staci Bowling, and Andrew Kingsbury; two great grandchildren, Elijah and Benjamin Mora, and one on the way; one brother, Larry Cadle, and one sister, Norma Atkinson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Reed City Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Chris DeMott and Pastor Ed Raby officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2015 at McDowell Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. until services Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at the church. The family requests that memorials be given to Eagle Village.
