Virginia was born June 28, 1914 in Mountainair, New Mexico to the late Edward and Sarah (Schock) East. While residing in Oklahoma, she married Ernest Eugene Hubbard and became the proud mother of Rodney Eugene, the pride and joy of her life. After moving to Akron, Ohio, she served diligently as President of many organizations. She was Worthy Matron of The Order of Eastern Star. In 1979, Virginia held the office of High Priestess of the Oriental Shrine.
She was preceded in death by Ernest E. Hubbard, her husband of 54 years; sister, Margaret Angel; and brother, Herbert East. She is survived by her son, Rodney; grandchildren; great-grandsons; sister and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service held at on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd., Akron, Ohio 44320.
