Mr. Ball was born in New Madrid, Missouri on July 24, 1932 to the late William Travis and Carolee Manning Ball.
He was a graduate of Eudora High School and
Monticello A&M, now U of A at Monticello.
Mr. Ball was a longtime owner of Ball’s Grocery Store and Appliance. He was also a rural route mail carrier for many years. Mr. Ball was a lifetime member of Eudora Baptist Church where he served as a Chairman of Deacons and song leader. He was an avid Razorback fan and loved to fish.
Mr. Ball was well known for his honesty and integrity and was willing to help anyone in need. He was a sacrificial, loving father and husband. Mr. Ball dearly loved to sing and was honored to sing several concerts at the Cowboy Church in Kilbourne, LA. His greatest loves were always his Lord and his church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and later by his son, Eddie Ball, and his brother, Charles Ball.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Carol Ball of Eudora, AR; daughter, Susan Porter and her husband, Kevin, of Little Rock, AR and grandchildren, Eddie Porter and his wife, Erica and Michael Porter and his wife, Nora.
Funeral Service in Eudora, AR. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, AR with Rev. Jimmy Wallace and Rev. Jeff Tarver officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, AR
