Funeral services for A.J. Garsee, 78, of Moscow were held in the First Baptist Church of Moscow.
Interment followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Garsee was born March 9, 1927 in San Augustine and died in his residence in Moscow on March 31.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Vera Lanier Garsee; parents, Doc and Pearl Garsee and brothers, Bill and Jack Garsee.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Kosina Garsee; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Marilyn Garsee of New Caney; daughters, Ann Garsee and mate Rod Cropsey of Texas City and Donna Cory-Garsee Acord and husband Edwin of George-town; grandchildren, Barton Ray and wife Danielle Marie Garsee, Eric James Garsee and Karen Renee Garsee; great-grandchildren, Vera Leann and Daniel Ray Garsee, all of Georgetown; brothers, Everett "Tupie" and wife Joy Garsee of San Augustine, Clarence H.
