Funeral Service Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 6:00 PM followed by Visitation at Community Funeral Home Chapel, Beulaville, NC. Graveside Service Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Batchelor Cemetery, Richlands, NC.

Surviving are his wife: Hilda Watkins York; two sons Haywood Melton, and Darrell Melton; three daughters Deborah Raynor,
Michelle Sylvester, and Shannon Jones; one sister Mary Alice Parker; one brother Bobby Sanford; eight Grandchildren; and two Great-Grandchildren. 2
