He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Paul Catron, and his brother Douglas. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and his children, Stephen Damon, Timothy Damon, Susan Lorraine Reams, Rachel Reams, and Amanda Cornet and their spouses, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his sister, Colleen Emory.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II, attaining the rank of sergeant. After receiving his Electrical Engineering degree from Purdue University, Paul worked 34 years as an Electrical Engineer at Delco Elecronics in Kokomo before his retirement in 1986. He loved the outdoors, enjoying his time on their farm in Peru, hunting and competitive shooting. Paul also enjoyed bowling, golf, reading, and dancing with his wife in the Kokomo Dance Club.
A memorial visitation December 5, 2015 at Sunset Memory Gardens funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo. At the conclusion of the memorial visitation, in honor of Paul's military service, the family will be presented with the United States flag by the United States Air force Honor Guard.
