Mrs. Carol Faircloth Shaw of Wynne, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at the age of 69.
Carol was born on September 3, 1946 in Dillon, South Carolina and is the daughter of the late James and Inez Faircloth of Chester, South Carolina.
She was a 1964 graduate of Chester High School and a 1967 graduate of Limestone College.
Carol married Dr. Sneed Shaw in 1968 and made their home in Wynne, Arkansas in 1969. She is a retired teacher and Realtor. Carol was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was very active in her community.
She is survived by her sons, Brent Shaw and wife Katie of Asheville, North Carolina; Brian Shaw and wife Deena of Wynne; grandsons, Henry and Harry Shaw of Asheville, North Carolina; brother, Keith Faircloth of Chester, South Carolina.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Sneed Shaw in 2009; and brother, Philip Faircloth.
Memorial services will be Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Rev. Glen Pettus officiating.
