Mrs. Walter died at 7:45
a.m. Friday at Edgewater
Haven Nursing Home, Port
Edwards, where she was ad-
mitted Tuesday. Death follow-
ed an extended illness.
The former Mary A. Pape
was born April 8, 1892, in
Dusseldorf, Germany, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lorenz Pape, and came from
Germany to Evanston, Ill., in
1914, then to Nekoosa in 1918.
She married Herman J.
Walter on May 27, 1919, in
Nekoosa and he died Oct. 24,
1931. She was a member of
Christian Mothers and Rosary
Society at Sacred Heart.
Survivors include a son...
three daughters...
