Mrs. Lee passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 19, 1932 in Nacogdoches County to the late Charles Stuart and Eva (Nance) Anderson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Baptist Church. Betty Jo, when asked in recent times where she was going, replied "to be with my Jesus."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Vernon Lee; son, Jerry Lynn Lee; grandsons, Michael Paul Lee and James Bradley Griffin; great-grandson, Charles Michael Beard; and twelve brothers and sisters.
