A Soldier of The American Civil War

I have been unable to find the burial location for Albert Weaver, but thought I would contribute what research and documentation I have found in hopes that it may help others in their search someday.

On the 1850 census we find Albert living on a farm in Arkwright, NY with a large family. His father is J Weaver (born 1798) and step-mother is Martha Weaver (born about 1801 in Vermont). *Albert's mother is believed to be Persis White who died in 1848*
His siblings may be:
Lydia, Enos, Julia, Persis, and Mary. There is also a 31 year old Mary A Crawford and 79 year old Caleb Weaver (born in Rhode Island) all living in the household.

About 1860 he marries Caroline 'Carrie' Crowell and the two welcomed a daughter Jennie Weaver in 1861.

On 4 Aug 1862 Albert enlists in the Union Army for a term of three years. A little more than a month later on 11 Sep 1862, Albert musters in for duty and officially becomes a PVT in the 112th New York Volunteer Infantry.

Pvt Weaver fought in over 10 battles in the American Civil War, all in the state of Virginia. His last battle was fought when he became one of the 391 soldiers Killed In Action during the Battle of Chaffin's Farm. Albert lost his life on the battlefield 29 Sep 1864, he was 28 years old. The battle ultimately was a Union victory.
