Florence E. Fellinger, 83, of Hughesville, died Monday, April 15, 2002 at the Muncy Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania.
She was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Berwick, the oldest of seven children of the late Harry and Verna (Snavely) Hacker. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Hughesville. She retired as a seamstress and enjoyed doing hand work, reading, crossword puzzles and traveling.
On Dec. 11, 1990, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Ebner F. "Ebby" Fellinger. She was also preceded bv two grandchildren, Angela and Michael Fellinger, both were of Crescent City. Three sisters, Edna Whitmoyer, Betty Cable, Margaret Ball and two brothers, Harry O. Hacker and Richard Hacker also preceded her in death.
Survivors are her three children, William E. (Sandy) Fellinger of Crescent City, Judy L. (Dan) Taggart of Concord, N.C., and Patricia E. (Paul) Roadarmel of Camp Hill, Pa. Also surviving are a brother, Walter Hacker of Olympia, Wash.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Friday, April 19, 2002, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, Hughesville, Pa., with her pastor Rev. Ralph Hibbs officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery, Hughesville. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 18 Apr 2001.)
