Wilton A. Vickers, a retired supervisor for Ethyl Corp. with 37 years of service and a resident of Baker, died Friday, June 25, 1999, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 82 and a native of Watson.
Survived by his wife of 59 years, Audrey C. Vickers, Baker; a daughter, Jacqueline Vickers, Baker; two sons, Johnny Vickers, Zachary, and Stephen Vickers, Watson; two sisters, Montiel Fugler, Central, and Marvelle Cappadozy, Frost; and two grandchildren, Stephen Allen Vickers Jr.,Baker, and Brandi Beard, Baton Rouge.
Preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers; and a sister.
He was a member of Baker Masonic Lodge and a deacon emeritus at First Baptist Church, Baker.
