DECATUR -- Funeral for Billy Gene "Wormy" Woodall, 80, of Decatur, will be Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Woodall officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mr. Woodall, who died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born Sept. 28, 1935, in Decatur to Paul Bedford and Pauline "Polly" Woodall. He was retired from Freuhauf Corporation and a Decatur City school bus driver. He was always active in youth boys basketball, baseball, and girls fast pitch softball. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Gregory Lynn Woodall.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Owens Woodall; son, Tony Woodall of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sister, Gaynell Woodall Johnson (Shelby) of Decatur; grandchildren, Hannah Woodall, Peyton Woodall, Jace Young; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Randolph, Laine Randolph, Koen Woodall and Caylen Alexander.
