DICKIESON, CALVIN ERNEST The passing of Calvin Ernest Dickieson of Nashwaak Bridge, NB, husband of Betty (Ross) Dickieson occurred on Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 1, 1924 in Woodsmen Point, NB, he was the son of the late Ernest and Louise (Turner) Dickieson. He was a member of the Taymouth United Church. He was a foreman with the maintenance department for CNR. Calvin was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #80. In addition to his wife, Calvin is survived by his son, Brian Dickieson of Oakville, ON; daughters, Helen Dickieson at home and Donna (Germaine) Delaurier of Laurier, MB; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Nicholas Munn. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Allen Dickieson; sisters, Mabel Bigney, Agnes McNeil, Marjorie Jardine and Loretta Dickieson; brothers, Stanley and Fred Dickieson. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Taymouth United Church on Thursday at 2 pm with Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating. Interment will take place in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Taymouth United Church Building Fund. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
